Dr Candice E. Cox, LCSW, CATP, CCTP

Great day! Welcome to A&A Inspirations! We are proud of you for embarking on your mental wellness journey!

I have worked as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in private practice for over 15 years. My passion and specialty is working with individuals who have been impacted by intergenerational and/or environmental trauma. Through the use of RTR, DBT, and CBT I assist individuals with assessing, addressing, and reducing the impact of toxic and/or traumatic stress in their lives. I believe life happens but that doesn’t mean it has to stop! We all have the ability to create new normals as we Keep Healing And Overcoming Struggles.

At this moment I am not taking new clients. Please review the profiles of our clinicians to see if someone from our team is a fit for you. Remember, the relationship you build with your therapist is important. Happy Healing and Growing! #khaosmindset

Nate Oatis, MSW, LCSW

Nate Oatis, LCSW is a St. Louis native who concentrated his master's program at the Brown School in mental health. While at Washington University, he spent his time considering the cultural adaptability for different modalities commonly used today such as CBT, TF-CBT, and DBT. When not providing therapy for clients or leading social and emotional learning groups, Nate spends his time training martial arts and weightlifting.

As a child, Nate experienced growing up with a terminally ill parent whom he was the care provider for after his father left. Nate’s passion is to provide adolescents with the space they need to process through environmental stressors and traumas they have experienced in their lives. Jasmine Walker, LMSW

Hey there! I’m a proud St. Louis native and a Riverview Gardens High School alum, with deep roots and a genuine love for my community. My academic journey took me to Missouri State University, where I earned my B.S. in Psychology in 2021 and my MSW in 2023. Recently, I achieved a significant milestone by receiving my Licensed Masters of Social Work license in Spring 2024.

My heart and career are devoted to helping those in need, especially the youth, who I believe hold the key to our future. I’m passionate about working closely with young people to support and empower them, while being committed to creating meaningful connections throughout STL. My goal is to build strong, impactful partnerships that contribute to positive change and growth in our community.

When I’m not working, you’ll likely find me traveling to new places, indulging in a good nap, enjoying quality time with my family, or sharing moments of laughter with people. These are the things that keep me grounded and inspire me every day. I’m excited about the journey ahead and the opportunity to make a difference while staying connected to what truly matters.

Lakaysha Shields, LMSW

Hello! I’m Lakaysha and I am excited to join the KHAOS team. I am a proud St. Louis native who received my Master’s in Social Work from the Brown School in 2018. Ever since graduating, my focus has been middle school-age adolescents. I’ve always had a passion for young people. This passion came from having influential people in my life and wanting to make the same impact on others. I’m committed to helping adolescents through life stressors and trauma, and teaching them ways to unleash their greatness. With my experience, I want to create a safe space for young people to release those stressors. I want to help them build strong and safe relationships and to help them understand their purpose in this world. Outside of work, I’m an avid reader and have a book blog. I love music, musicals, and spending time with my family and friends.
